Project Overview

Boxing for Christ strives to help kids, teens, young adults and adults to strive for something better. Established in 2012 in the city of San Jacinto. Vision: Another Better Chance, Inc dba Boxing for Christ. Is a nonprofit 501c3 organization. Our boxing program and curriculum focus on character and leadership development. Our mentorship programs are. designed to build health, promote nutrition, fitness and obesity awareness. As active members of society, we are working to achieve a greater level of values, morals, work ethic and an active-healthy. lifestyle for our local youth and community. As always Boxing for Christ remains focused on the safety of our at- risk youth, parents, coaches and staff. Our mission: To help both boys and girls of all backgrounds to use boxing to promote and provide a safe haven and healthy environment for our youth and young adults. Along with teaching our students self-defense, discipline and self-esteem. Boxing for Christ provides an outlet for our students to release aggression in a healthy way, along with life skills to help them in their future to be productive members of society, reach a larger group in this community’s underprivileged youth and young adults, their families and surrounding areas, residents as well. Our goal is to establish a boxing Academy that integrates life skills classes as well as other programs to help kids, teens, young adults and adults thrive. Our vision for this Boxing Academy is to have students and life skill classes as well as boxing lessons and to maybe someday they can themselves be part of our teaching staff. Since the inception of our program. We are proud to say that over 3,000 students have gone through our doors. Our latest achievement is that 1 of our students has made it to the 2020 Olympics as an alternate. We continue to work hard to pus our students to be greater. Our program has been recognized by multiple local organization in the community and county wide.
