Project Overview

Project Compassion is a project that God placed in our hearts over 20 years ago. Our heart desire is to help God's people in the areas of most need. Allowing them to see the hand of God that has maintained them thus far and the same hand that keeps them. This project is to provide shelter, food, clothing, guidance, and a community where residents who have no family or support system can learn critical skills to succeed in life while being safe and loved.

Executive Summary

Helping with housing, substance abuse, feeding and support services with Love and support is what people need. We work to be the hands and the feet of God working and plowing the fields for the end time Harvest of souls, one soul at a time. Market Focus: This project is directed towards the needy people in our local community by providing housing, food and resources to meet their day-to-day needs. Everyone can use a little help from friends, and when there is an atmosphere of help, encouragement, and Love, lives can be turned around and people can go from striving to thriving. They can then be the encouragement needed for the next phase of people needing our help, encouraging one another. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."Luke6:38MPC" Imagine each hand being lifted up, to lift the next one up. This is what we aim to do as we are Sowing for Jesus. We will build 3 affordable housing sites, 2 for families and individuals and the 3rd will be low-income housing for the elderly and disabled. It would be an independent living building consisting of approximately 800-1000 square feet of living space. Additionally, Project Compassion will include 2 drug rehabilitation locations and 2 feeding and serving centers for clean clothing, showers and hot meals. The vision is for low-income housing for the elderly and disabled. It would be an independent living building. Consisting of 800 -1000 square foot apartments which are upkept by the residents. Management would be keeping up with inspections of apartments and the facility itself to keep things in order. The building would have a community room for residents to connect and establish relationships and build a family environment. This project would be also considering that the elderly will not have to walk far to enjoy their living accommodations or even be outside in the elements when the weather is not the best. The second building would be 1–3-bedroom apartments for low-income families. This will include a playground for the children and an outside area for family events. All apartment fees would be based on the income of the individuals applying so no one is left without a home. Corporate sponsorships and community support of restoring our communities will be the catalyst of maintaining the project for future residents. This would enable the project to continue for many years to come. The acreage would allow for several individual homes to be built so staff and employees would be able to be on call for the property. The acreage would also allow for a facility to be built that would allow for Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation for persons coming out of the judicial system which are already vetted. They would get support and training in a faith-based setting. The facility would allow people needing assistance off the street to come into the program also. The program would assist residents for up to 1 year. All participants have to work. “If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. 2 Thessalonians 3:10" The Rehabilitation program would graduate all participants that have completed the program successfully. Their transition would allow them to rent housing hopefully supported by our program. This will allow the program to flourish with the next group of residents while helping to sustain the program as a whole. The program would include a progressive sustainability program through local business partnerships. Assisting with jobs and maintaining our communities. They can help the program flourish with the next group of residents while they are living and working for the rehab facility. There would be a feeding center for the community on the property to help those that cannot get housing or rehab if all slots are filled. We would be able to assist our community by feeding and providing support services for people of all ages, from children, to parents, adults, and to seniors. We see them and serve them on the streets now. Compassion Village will provide housing for up to 150 families and 125 individuals. The Compassion Villages will start with Pallet Shelter Homes. The pallet shelter homes sleep 2-4 individuals. Along with the housing they will be served hot meals daily. There will be Laundry Facilities, bathrooms, and showers on the property. There will be separate paths for the families and for the individuals, for our families that have children for their own safety. The meals will be served eventually from our own Hydroponic Gardens which will provide fresh vegetables and fruits for all of our residents to support healthy living and participation. Learning to live simply, and not to accumulate things will help our families appreciate the new beginnings they have been given. Compassion Village will help families to support their own growth by renting an affordable housing apartment. Compassion Village will be a steppingstone to Compassion Housing which will be affordable housing. which we will build to support our families. Compassion Housing will take more time to build. Compassion Housing will consist of 2-3 locations which will consist of 1, 2, 3-bedroom apartments. (housing). As we acquire more land, we will start the building of housing to support our families in the pallet shelter homes. There will be specific housing we will also build to support our elderly and disabled community which will be affordable. Our villages will be supported by a field of Solar Panels that will produce electricity to run the facilities and the pallet homes. This will also produce income from the electric companies. We will also have a Hydro Garden and Garden to support services to the villages also. Along with the faith-based housing we will build a Faith-based Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation farm/ facility. The Drug and Alcohol Farm will bring individuals to a place to turn themselves around so that their past does not dictate their future. Through counseling and biblical teaching and practices, individuals will start over with renewed mindsets. The farm will consist of taking care of small animals, learning to care for and help with the well-being that is required to survive. This program will be outlined in group settings. This setting will have house parents, counselors, support teams and others. We hope to work with the Department of Justice to assist others which may be incarcerated but need release programs that can assist individuals with living again. Project Compassion, through Sowing for Jesus LLC, is a project to build a community of love and support through meeting the daily needs of those that have been displaced and those with income restrictions. By eliminating financial barriers, the project aims to ensure that living accommodations, food and the necessities of life are met each day, along with support and introducing people to the Love of Jesus Christ. Sowing for Jesus would be equipped with land, housing, food, staffing and resources to provide accommodations, rehabilitation, food and essential services to those individuals we are serving on the street now and in the future. What will birth from this project is the ongoing gift of hope, and Love, and ultimately, the gift of Jesus. We can do all things through Christ that strengthens us. We can rebuild that which was broken. Through love and caring relationships, we Sow for Jesus.
