REPUBLIC MINI HOUSE VILLAGE
Project Overview
To build a senior community with new updated secure and efficient housing for seniors in need. to have the infrastructure and amenities that will allow these seniors to live out their retirement years in safety, comfort, with security and with dignity. It will provide a gym, a park as well as a Community Center for fitness activity and entertainment of the residents. the Community Center and park could both be used by the residents for family activities events and parties. Each housing unit would be ADA handicap equipped and accessible. Also, each housing unit will be efficient by having a heat pump as well as one solar panel per unit to drive down the cost of electricity. a few varieties and designs would dictate the initial rental cost of these units from between $500 per month up to $800 per month an example of a $500 unit would be a simple studio style housing unit of about 360 square feet the unit would have a driveway and a small outdoor storage. a $650 unit what be a one bedroom with an outdoor storage and a carport. A $800 unit would be a two-bedroom with an outside storage and a carport. The property would be secured with security fencing as well as camera technology and a contracted security company. The kitchen and the Community Center would prepare and offer breakfast and lunch each day of which the residents could purchase monthly meal ticket cards for breakfast or lunch or both and could cook their evening or dinner meal in their own housing unit. The gym would have a good variety of exercise equipment, both cardio and weight training to accommodate seniors’ physical fitness needs.
Executive Summary
To address this problem, I plan to purchase a property clean it up excavate it and build small houses (approximately 360sf-650sf each) Each unit would be handicapped equipped and accessible, heavily insulated, with heat pumps and one solar panel per unit to drive down electric cost. There would be a community center with a full professional kitchen, video, and sound equipment to accommodate social events or family gatherings. There will be a gym with exercise equipment, a spa and sauna. By sharing this Senior Citizen Retirement Community plan with others in our group and encouraging them to build Senior Citizen Retirement Communities in their area we hope the idea will spread across the country to help the many displaced seniors everywhere. This will also help our members create a positive cash flow to implement more humanitarian projects in their communities.
